گروه خبری GSM: مدل جدید سونی اریکسون سروصدای زیادی برپاکرده است، بخصوص P5i که در نیمه دوم سال 2008 ارائه خواهد شد. ولی اخبارهای جدید حاکی از آن است که سوئد و ژاپن با همکاری مشترک، اقدام به ثبت نام تجاری Xperia برای تولید گوشی همراه کرده اند. این نام مربوط به نام یک وسیله الکترونیکی با قابلیت های اجرایی بیش از یک موبایل است. این وسیله شامل دوربین، سرویس پیام فوری IM، پیام های چند منظوره، موزیک، ویدئو، ایمیل، اینترنت، قابلیت تجاری، جهت یابی ماهواره ای، کنترل از راه دور،پرینت سیار، بازی، همچنین خدمات telecommunication در ماهیت صدا، تصویر، عکس، ویدئو و اطلاعات اجرا می شود.
